Jasmine Cannon is a Master's student at the George Washington University, studying American Studies and concentrating in Museum Studies. She received her BA from North Carolina State University in May 2016 with a major in Women's and Gender Studies and a minor in Anthropology. Her research interests center black feminist labor histories, examines the first wave of the Great Migration, as well as the intimate relationship between Camden, NJ and black Philadelphia in the 19th Century.
