Where did you go for undergrad and what did you study?
Brandeis University, in Waltham, MA. I double majored in Politics and American Studies. During my senior year I wrote an honors thesis for Brandeis' Politics department which examined how Donald Trump presented himself as a political strongman during his 2016 presidential campaign.
Imagine you're up to bat as a Major League Baseball Player. You need a walk-out song. Which would you choose?
I'll have to go with ACDC’s “Thunderstruck.” It would hype up the crowd before I embarrass myself and strike out.
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life what would it be and why?
Being So Normal by Peach Pit. It's short (only 9 songs long!) but every song on the album is endlessly replayable.
Where is your favorite place in the world?
Honestly, I think my pick is D.C. Ever since I was a child, I have always loved D.C. The city's culture and history makes it feel like every street and block has a different story to tell. Also, no other American city has a transportation system that is as easy to follow or as practical as the Metro is, so that earns D.C. bonus points in my book.
