My name is Macayne Bock, I am from Waverly, Ohio and attended Ohio University - Chillicothe where I earned a BA in History and a minor in political science. My research focused on the Early American Republic, the consequences of social institutions throughout human history, and American imperialism through globalization. Hailing from the Appalachian region of America I also am interested in rural and folk culture, primarily the rebellious nature of the Appalachian peoples and the labor movements within the coal mining industry during the industrial revolution.

If I were an animal I would be an orangutan

My favorite place in the world is Pee Pee Creek, Waverly, Ohio
If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life what would it be and why?
If I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life it would be Pray for Paris by Westside Gunn. It is a masterpiece and one of the most progressive projects in the modern hip hop era. As well it is loaded with features and the production is top tier.

My walk up song would be Rooster by Alice in Chains
