MA Student
Zach Bloom (he/him) is a Masters student in the American Studies department, with an emphasis in Museums and Material culture. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Museum Studies and History, with a minor in Art History from Juniata College in May 2024. In the Spring of 2024, he gave two presentations on his undergraduate thesis at the Popular Culture Association national conference in Chicago and at Juniata College's Liberal Arts Symposium. His thesis, "Fantastic Four: Family Life in the 1960's" discusses how comics shaped youth culture in the 1960's, and how it somewhat depicted family life. His research interests include comic studies, Disco and Pop Art. In his free time, he likes going for walks, exploring museums, reading comics and literature, and collecting vinyl records.
