We are proud to announce that our own PhD candidate, Michael Horka, has been awarded the CCAS Graduate Teaching Fellowship for the upcoming academic year!

"The CCAS Graduate Teaching Fellowship Program has as its primary goal to spark innovation in the undergraduate curriculum by providing students with access to cutting-edge scholarship being produced by advanced PhD candidates in the Columbian College. At the same time, the program strives to provide advanced PhD candidates the experience of teaching their own undergraduate courses, and to provide funding for their research. The dual mission of the program seeks to elevate all of our student constituencies through the realm of teaching."
